A good friend I haven't talked to since Lent started texted me today to remind me that he was doing NYCUP over spring break and still needed help fundraising. I kept telling him I would, but kept forgetting so told him to follow up with me until I do. Ah, I'm so exciting for his upcoming week at NYCUP! It's going to be freaking amaaaazing! It's odd how we became friends. I don't really remember, but he's been a huge presence in my walk with God. He's kept me accountable and he's always checked up on me on a very regular basis. Which is really surprising since he's a fairly new friend and he doesn't go to school in the city, and not even my city friends do that. He's very honest and knows how to shut me up which makes me listen haha. We pretty much talked on a daily basis even it was a really short conversation, but that hasn't been going since Lent. I've been meaning to email him, but never got to it. His text today started an email chain!HAHA.
