It's the last day of 2010

It's the last day of 2010, and it's an awesome day! Four of us met up for great food and bubble tea, and then we sat down together in the warmest room of church remembering what God has done in our lives in 2010 and looking forward to what He will do in 2011, as well as brainstorming what's the next step for our women's group. After much sharing and prayers, we came into the consensus that we are all looking for God to stretch us, to kick us out of our comfort zones and to grow more in Him. we want to be desperately in need of Him and to let our lives resemble His Son! Then we decided that our project of 2011 is to show an act of kindness/love everyday, with all of our efforts combined.

Thus this blog became the child of the last day in 2010 We are using her to record how His love flows through us. Like most books in the Bible, she will not only contain the lovely and moving stories about success and courage. After all, We are not heroines. We are merely mortal beings who strive to live our times worthy of our callings. We will write down our struggles, our fears and setbacks, and most important of all, how He empowers and uses us fallen beings to do His will. We wanna us this blog to make His name glorified. We hope that this will also be an encouragement to you and that it will stirs up in your heart a desire to do something small but great for Him.

If you are a lady, feel free to join us by emailing one of us so we can include you as one of the writers/partners of this project. Yet if u r a gentleman, we encourage you to start your own group/blog. Don't get us wrong, we ain't feminists and don't believe in woman power, but since we started as a women's group, we want to keep it that way. Sometimes our world is just much simpler when only one gender is there...;-)

-live to be forgotten, that Christ may be remembered.
